Square Connect today released the first version of their SQ Desigenr application. This is an Adobe AIR application that runs on Mac OS X as well as Windows machines. Users will need to download and install the free Adobe AIR runtime environment.
SQ Designer allows users to create their user interface with an intuitive control pad and panel editor, with all the built-in options to make this simple and quick such as drag-and-drop, snap-to-grid, align, auto-distribute, cut and paste and more.
The application allows much more than just editing control pads, it also integrates with Box.net allowing direct import and export of saved confgurations so running a newly edited control configuration is just a few mouse click and screen taps away.
