Square Connect releases SQ Designer Application
Desktop design of control surfaces for SQ Remote HD and SQ Remote Lite

Square Connect today released the first version of their SQ Desigenr application. This is an Adobe AIR application that runs on Mac OS X as well as Windows machines. Users will need to download and install the free Adobe AIR runtime environment.

SQ Remote now has user definable jumps in its macros.

SQ Designer allows users to create their user interface with an intuitive control pad and panel editor, with all the built-in options to make this simple and quick such as drag-and-drop, snap-to-grid, align, auto-distribute, cut and paste and more.

SQ Remote now has user definable Web Views.

The application allows much more than just editing control pads, it also integrates with Box.net allowing direct import and export of saved confgurations so running a newly edited control configuration is just a few mouse click and screen taps away.

SQ Designer also has the following features;

  • Theme Editing: Edit and Create themes directly from within SQ Designer, then eport and share them with other users.
  • MiOS integration: Connect to your myMiOS or over your local Wi-Fi network to load your MiOS system data into SQ Designer to allow you to configure MiOS controls directly.
  • IR Learning and Management: Learn and manage your own IR codes. Export and share then with other users.
  • Test Controls from within the SQ Designer. Connect to your SQ Blaster systems on your local network and test your IR controls directly from within the application.
  • Add Icons to Lists: Drag and drop icons into your control lists, and then export the icon files directly to Box.net ready to import into SQ Remote.
  • Macros: Create Macros and test them within SQ Designer.
  • Create control panel templates and librarioes of macros and command lists for simple createion of new confgrations or to create configurations for other users.
